ABOUT US

Verdiora – From Pollachi to the World

Verdiora / JPL Exports manufacturing unit exterior, Pollachi

The Pollachi manufacturing unit, where raw husk is processed through to finished, packed block.

Verdiora is the export brand of JPL Exports, a coco peat and coir products manufacturer based in Pollachi — the historic coir capital of India. Our location at the foothills of the Western Ghats gives us direct access to some of the world's finest coconut husks.

We work directly with local husk suppliers and coir units across Pollachi and Erode, controlling the process from raw husk through washing, sieving, EC correction, compression and container loading — rather than trading blocks bought in from third parties.

That husk-to-harvest control is what lets us hold consistent EC, pH and moisture across a full container, and adjust blend ratios — pith, chips, fibre — to a buyer's own growing programme rather than a fixed catalogue SKU.

Coco peat is also a naturally sustainable, biodegradable and renewable growing medium — a byproduct of the coconut husk rather than an extracted, non-renewable resource, making Verdiora an eco-friendly alternative to sphagnum peat moss.

Today Verdiora ships to growers, distributors and blenders in the United States, European Union, UAE and China, with capacity across two manufacturing units — Pollachi and Erode — to support recurring container orders.

SINCE 2007

Where it started

This is our very first truckload — hand-loaded and roped down, headed out of Pollachi in 2007. Every container we ship today traces back to that one truck.

WHY VERDIORA

What a repeat container buyer actually checks for.

01

Husk-to-harvest control

We manufacture from raw husk through to finished block ourselves across Pollachi and Erode — no trading middle layer between farm and pallet.

02

EC you can plan around

Washed and buffered grades hold below 0.60 mS/cm, batch to batch, so your fertigation programme doesn't need re-tuning every container.

03

Blend, not just block

Pith, chips and fibre in nine standard ratios, plus custom blends built to a target you specify — not a fixed catalogue SKU.

04

Two units, one order

Pollachi and Erode manufacturing capacity gives us the throughput to hold recurring container schedules without a single-site bottleneck.

05

Container-optimised packing

Standard 30 × 30 cm block footprint palletised at up to 240 blocks per pallet — built around 40' HC loadability from the start, not adapted to it.

06

Naturally sustainable

Coco peat is a biodegradable, renewable byproduct of the coconut husk — an eco-friendly, sustainable alternative to extracted peat moss, with no bog depletion involved.

07

Private label available

Retail-ready packs printed with your own brand name and artwork — sold under your label, manufactured to Verdiora's specs.

08

Sourced at the coir capital

Pollachi sits at the heart of India's coconut and coir belt — the finest husks are available right here, which is what makes batch-to-batch consistency possible in the first place.

09

Built for western buyers

A professionally run team experienced with US, EU and UAE customers — responsive communication and a customer-first approach on every order.
